Sauté onions and garlic in EVOO, add spices and sauté for 3 more minutes.
Add wine and cook until reduced by ½, about 5 minutes.
Add diced tomatoes and sauté for 5-10 mins until reduced.
Add rest of tomatoes and broth. Cook for 1 hr on stovetop.
Add baked (or fried) meatballs and place in 275° F convection oven for 2 hours.
