Ingredients:
1 lb beef, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, julienned
1 onion, sliced
½ cup beef broth
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Directions:
In a bowl, mix the beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Increase heat to high, add marinated beef, and stir-fry quickly until beef is browned but still tender, about 2-3 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.
In the same wok, add a bit more oil if needed, then add bell pepper and onion. Stir-fry until vegetables are just tender, about 2 minutes.
Return beef to the wok, add beef broth and sugar, and quickly stir to combine. Cook for an additional minute.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
