Season the stew meat with salt and pepper. If you desire, brown the stew meat, but it is not necessary.
Place all of the ingredients except the noodles and cream cheese in the crockpot.
Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
Cook the wide egg noodles according to package directions. Cook the number of servings you would like.
Stir the cream cheese into the meat and sauce just before serving.
Serve the meat and sauce on top of the noodles.
