Gather the ingredients.
Prepare the pie shell or use a ready-made crust. Fit the pastry into the pan following recipe instructions. Cover and refrigerate until the filling is ready.
Preheat oven to 350 F and place the oven rack at its lowest position.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs.
Add the maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla. Blend well and then stir in the pecans.
Pour the pecan mixture into the prepared pie shell.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is set.
