Roasted Cabbage With Garlic, Parmesan, And Creamy Mayo Sauce
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat with a bit of oil. Sear the cabbage quarters on both cut sides until golden. Remove and set aside.

  2. In the same skillet, sauté the sausage, then onions and garlic until fragrant. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Return the seared cabbage to the pan and pour in the chicken broth.

  3. Cover the skillet tightly with foil and bake at 400°F for 30 minutes, or until the cabbage is fork-tender.

  4. Remove the cabbage and set aside. To the pan broth, whisk in the Hellmann's Mayo and Parmesan until smooth and creamy. Add the cornstarch slurry, then bring to a gentle boil to thicken the sauce.

  5. Return the cabbage to the skillet and baste with the garlic-parm sauce. Let it warm through for a few minutes.

  6. Top with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
