Asian-inspired Rice Bowl With Ground Beef And Cucumber Salad
  1. Soak 1 cup of basmati rice in salt water all day, then drain and rinse

  2. Combine rice with 1.5 cups bone broth and 1 tsp salt

  3. Cover and bring to boil, then drop heat to low and cook covered for 15-20 minutes

  4. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, add half a pack of frozen shelled edamame

  5. Sauté red onion in a little avocado oil until it gets some color

  6. Add 1 pound of ground beef to the onion and break up the meat

  7. Once the meat is almost done, add salt, ginger powder, garlic powder, and coconut aminos

  8. Top the ground beef with Bachan's sweet & spicy Japanese BBQ sauce

  9. Thinly cut cucumbers and carrots for the salad

  10. Combine cucumbers and carrots with salt, rice wine vinegar, toasted sesame oil, sesame seeds, and coconut aminos

  11. Serve the rice and ground beef with the cucumber salad
