Prep the Spinach: Squeeze excess moisture from the spinach by gently rolling it in a clean kitchen towel.
Mix the Filling: In a bowl, whisk eggs, cottage cheese, and heavy cream (if using) until smooth. Stir in spinach, cheddar (if using), green onions, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the mixture into the dish and smooth the top. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the edges are puffed and the center is set (a toothpick inserted comes out clean).
