Lemon Bars
  1. Put 2 cups flour and ½ cup powdered sugar into the cuisinart with regular blade. Combine them for 30 seconds.

  2. Cut up cold butter into smaller chunks and put into Cuisinart, ½ half at a time. Pulse until butter and flour becomes like sand.

  3. Press this mixture into a 9" x 13" x 2" baking pan.

  4. Bake the shortbread crust for about 25 minutes at 300 degrees until lightly browned.

  5. Just before shortbread is done combine the rest of the ingredients in a bowl.

  6. Pull out crust and out this layer onto the top and spread out with a spatula.

  7. Put back into oven and raise the temp to 350 degrees.

  8. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Should be a bit firm to the touch and lightly brown.

  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar after the bars cool for 10 minutes
