Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) with lower rack. Grease muffin pan or use muffin cups (lower rack allows bottoms to cook a little faster so the tops rise and hold their shape a little better).
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt
Stir sugar and softened butter together in a large bowl.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well until smooth
stir DRY BOWL INGREDIENTS into butter mixture a little at a time until smooth. Mix well.
Mix in ripe bananas and Greek yogurt. Mix well. Fold in chocolate chips and transfer into 12 muffin cups for large muffins.
Bake in the preheated oven on middle or lower rack until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean and tops are browning, about 20 minutes.
Cool muffins in the pan for 10 minutes then transfer to wire rack to cool.
