  1. Make the seasoned oil by mixing together olive oil, ranch seasoning, red pepper flakes, and kosher salt in a small bowl.

  2. Add saltine crackers to a gallon-sized zip-top bag, pour in the oil mixture, seal the bag, and toss gently until the crackers are well-coated.

  3. Let the crackers rest in the oil mixture for at least an hour before baking.

  4. Preheat the oven to 300°F.

  5. Spread the crackers into an even layer on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake until fragrant and just beginning to brown, about 7 to 10 minutes.

  7. Let them cool to room temperature before serving.
