Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan.
Grease & dust a 2lb loaf tin or line with a baking liner.
Into a bowl add both flours, salt, porridge and soda. Mix.
In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, buttermilk, treacle and oil.
Add the wet to the dry & mix.
Spoon into the prepared tin and sprinkle with porridge oats.
Bake in the oven for 60 minutes.
At this stage, remove the loaf from the tin and return to the oven for a further 20 minutes.
Remove and allot to cool before slicing.
