Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pour the melted butter into the bottom of your baking dish. Sprinkle the Parmesan evenly over the butter, then add the garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Mix everything together into a buttery, cheesy paste, and spread it into an even layer.
Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise. Place them cut-side down on the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently so they stick. Sprinkle the tops with a little salt and pepper.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender when poked with a fork and the bottoms are golden brown and crispy.
