Heat butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and water in a pan over medium heat with heat initially off
Stir until mixture melts and starts to boil
Pour in pecans and stir constantly or every 10 seconds for approximately 4 minutes until pecans absorb the sugar mixture
Remove from heat and pour candied pecans onto parchment paper to cool
Cut apples and red onion into thin slices
Mix all dressing ingredients together in a bowl
Assemble salad by combining spring mix, sliced apples, sliced red onion, goat cheese crumbles, cranberries, and candied pecans
Drizzle with dressing and serve
