Cream Custard Filling

1. Whisk milk, sugar, flour, Maizena, and egg yolk.

2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.

3. Continue until it becomes a thick pudding.

4. Remove from heat.

5. Stir in butter and vanilla.

6. Cool completely.

7. Fold in the whipped cream.

8. Mix gently until smooth and fully combined.

Cake

1. Beat 3 eggs + ¾ cup powdered sugar until lighter and slightly foamy.

2. Add: 1½ cups milk and ½ cup oil and Mix.

3. Add: 3 cups flour, 1 packet baking powder (about 10–15 g), 1 packet vanilla sugar / vanillin and mix until smooth.

Preheat a flat sandwich toaster or panini press.

Lightly grease the cooking plates.

Pour a thin layer of batter onto the lower plate. The batter should be approximately 5–10 mm thick.

Close the lid.

Cook until the cake is lightly golden and springs back when touched.

Remove the cake from the toaster.

Trim any uneven or crispy edges.

Allow the cake to cool until it is warm but comfortable to handle.

Spread an even layer of cream filling over the cake.

Leave a 1–2 cm border around the edges without filling.

Scatter chopped strawberries over the cream.

Scatter sliced bananas over the cream.

Add the chocolate chips or chocolate drizzle.

Start at one short edge of the cake.

Carefully roll the cake into a tight log.

Use gentle pressure while rolling to keep the filling in place.

Place the roll seam-side down.

Allow the roll to rest for 5 minutes so it can hold its shape.

Dust with powdered sugar.

Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.

Cut each roll into 2–3 pieces.

Serve.
