Put your milk and cream cheese in a large saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until the cream cheese is melted
Pour your milk mixture into your 2.5-3 quart crock pot (I used Dotty, my 2.5-quart polka dot crock pot)
Stir in your Parmesan cheese and garlic salt
Cover and cook on low for 30 mins to an hour, stirring occasionally
Serve with your cubed French bread
