Mix together 2 cups yellow corn meal, 2 cups all purpose flour, 1 cup sugar, 2 tbsp baking powder, and 2 tsp salt
Add 3 cups buttermilk, ⅔ cup vegetable oil, 2 eggs, ½ cup sour cream, and 2 tbsp vanilla to the dry ingredients
Pour batter into baking pan
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour
While cornbread bakes, prepare glaze by combining 1 stick unsalted butter, 2 tbsp brown sugar, and 1 cup honey
Drizzle glaze over warm cornbread
