Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions. Strain pasta with cold water to stop cooking and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
Add red onion and sauté for 3 min.
Then add zucchini, squash, asparagus, and bell pepper and sauté for another 2 min.
Add garlic and tomatoes sauté for another 2 min or until the veggies have softened.
Add cooked pasta and stir in lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, shredded Parmesan, and red pepper flakes.
Garnish with basil and season with more salt and pepper to taste.
