In a large bowl, add your rinsed organic black beans, cooked quinoa, tomato paste, olive oil, water, grated onion, all the seasoning and the panko breadcrumbs. Form four to five patties.Tip: Before forming your patties, taste the mixture and add additional seasonings to your liking.
Brush some olive oil on each side of the patties. You can grill or bake the patties. I grilled the patties in a grilled pan and cook on medium heat for about 3-5 minutes per side. Cooking time all depends on the thickness of your patties.
Assemble your burger with a hamburger, brioche bun or pretzel bun and all your favorite toppings. A chipotle mayo is a great sauce to pair with this Black Bean & Quinoa burger.
