Preheat oven to 350°F, rack in the middle.
Process rinsed beans and oil in a food processor until smooth.
Add eggs, vanilla, and maple/agave syrup. Blend until combined.
Whisk flour, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
Pour bean mixture into the dry mix, stir with a spatula until just combined.
Line a muffin pan, divide batter evenly into cups.
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Bake about 17 minutes — centers will be soft when pressed, they firm up as they cool.
Cool on a wire rack. Store airtight in the fridge up to 5 days or freeze up to 3 months. Best eaten chilled.
