Add Paste & Oil: Mix in the white sesame paste/tahini and vegetable oil until combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking ammonia (or baking powder).
Form Dough: Gradually stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture until a dough forms.
Shape: Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheet 2 inches apart. Optional: Roll balls in sesame seeds before placing.
Bake: Bake for 17–20 minutes, or until the tops are cracked and dry.
Cool: Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

Tips
Baking Ammonia: Creates a lighter, crispier texture than baking powder, though it will produce a strong odor in the oven that disappears during cooling.
Substitution: If you cannot find white sesame paste, tahini works as a substitute.
