Melt half a stick of butter in a 9” square pan.
Combine one cup of milk, one cup of sugar, one cup of self-rising flour, and a few drops of vinegar; pour into pan.
Pour one cup of lightly sugared fruit over the mixture.
Cut up remaining butter and dab it over the top.
Bake at 375 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes until brown on top.
