Wash the rice extremely well, about 6-8 times until the water runs clear to remove excess starch
Bring 4 cups of hot water to a boil in a pot
Add the washed and drained rice, butter, oil, chicken bouillon cube, and salt to the boiling water
Stir to combine and bring back to a boil
Add the lid, reduce heat to the lowest setting, and simmer for exactly 15 minutes
Turn off the flame and allow the rice to rest for another 15 minutes without lifting the lid
Remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork before serving
