  3. Add vanilla extract and fold/mix gently

  4. Pour in the heavy whipping cream

  5. Whip everything together on medium–high speed until the frosting becomes smooth, glossy, thick, stable, and pipeable

  6. Stop whipping as soon as it holds stiff peaks — don't overbeat
