Preheat oven to 400°F.
Pat pork tenderloin dry and season all over with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, brown sugar, and soy sauce to form a paste.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear pork on all sides until golden, about 2–3 minutes per side.
Brush the garlic-brown sugar mixture over the pork, coating evenly.
Transfer skillet to the oven and roast for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
