Homemade Cottage Cheese
  1. Pour the buttermilk into a large pot and cover with a lid.

  2. Place the pot in the oven.

  3. Bake at 400°F for about 1 hour.

  4. Let it cool completely.

  5. Strain the mixture using a ladle and a sieve (or strainer).

  6. Let it sit in the sieve for a few minutes so the liquid can drain off.

  7. Transfer the cottage cheese to a container and refrigerate.
