Homemade Protein Bars: Chocolate & Peanut Butter
  1. In a large bowl, mix the peanut butter, half the peanuts, syrup and pinch of salt together

  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients and mix well

  3. Press the mixture firmly into a lined loaf tin

  4. Melt chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave

  5. Pour chocolate over the base and top with remaining peanuts and pinch of sea salt

  6. Refrigerate for 1 hour before slicing into 8 bars

  7. Store in an air-tight container for 4 days in the fridge or freeze individually for longer storage
