In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pan, and sauté until softened and fragrant.
Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
Stir in the bowtie pasta. Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream, shredded cheese, and paprika (if using).
Continue cooking over low heat, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy and thickened.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot and enjoy!
