Place the brie wheel in a baking dish with sides (a pie plate works great).
Use a knife to score the top of the brie in a checkerboard pattern, then sprinkle brown sugar to fully cover the top.
Drizzle maple syrup over the brie.
Add chopped pecans on top.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
While the brie bakes, toast your sliced baguette during the last few minutes of bake time.
Enjoy warm, straight from the oven.
