Pho Broth
  1. Simmer the broth low and slow for as long as you can, up to 8 hours, to extract the wonderful beefy flavors.

  2. Add the spice packet in the last two hours of cooking.

  3. Do not add the fish sauce until the end, when adjusting the final seasonings, as it can throw off the broth flavor and make it a little sour if simmered for too long.
