Chinese Char Siu Crispy Wings
  1. Add the ingredients for the sauce to a bowl and mix well.

  2. Reserve approx 4 tbsp of the sauce before adding the chicken wings.

  3. Put the wings in a large bowl or ziplock bag and add the Char Siu sauce.

  4. Coat the wings well, and marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

  5. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  6. Once marinated, pop the wings onto a baking tray and cook for 35 minutes.

  7. Halfway through, turn and baste with the reserved sauce.

  8. Once done, let them rest for 5 minutes.

  9. Alternatively, BBQ them.
