Brown Sugar Peach Crumb Bars
  1. Cut four peaches in half, take out the pits, and cut them into quarter inch slices.

  2. Take two thirds of your peaches and put them into a medium saucepan along with some light brown sugar, all purpose flour, and ground cinnamon.

  3. Cook this over low heat for about 10 minutes until the peaches break down and become all glossy.

  4. Turn off the heat and stir in your fresh peaches.

  5. In a stand mixer, add in some softened butter, light brown sugar, vanilla extract, all purpose flour, salt, and baking powder.

  6. Mix this up until it forms a dry, crumbly dough.

  7. Press roughly two thirds of the dough into the bottom of a pan.

  8. Add the partially cooked peaches on top.

  9. Top with the remaining crumble dough.

  10. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes until cooked through.
