Combine 4 cups powdered milk, 1 ½ cups cornstarch or arrowroot powder, ½ cup chicken bouillon powder, 4 tsp onion powder, 2 tsp dried basil, 1 tsp dried thyme, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp pepper to create the bulk mix
Over low heat, add 1 cup milk or water and ⅓ cup of dry mix
Whisk until the mixture is smooth and thickened
For cream of broccoli: add ½ cup finely chopped broccoli
For cream of cheddar: add ½ cup cheddar cheese
For cream of chicken: add ½ cup finely chopped cooked chicken breast
For cream of mushroom: add ½ cup finely chopped mushrooms
For cream of celery: add ½ cup finely diced celery
