Line bottom of a trifle dish with lamingtons, top with a few tablespoons of the cherry juice.
Add cream followed by some morello cherries. Spread evenly.
Top with half of the flaked chocolate.
Add the chocolate custard followed by more lamingtons.
More cherry juice & fresh cherries.
Add cream to finish.
Followed by more flaked chocolate & fresh cherries for garnish.
Chill for a minimum 4+ hours or even better overnight.
If using a bigger trifle bowl you may need to repeat layers to your liking. Can also be made in a tray or as cups
