Carrot Rice
  1. Wash and grate the carrot

  2. Chop the onion into small bits

  3. Measure out your rice and rinse several times in water until the water runs clear

  4. Pour olive oil into a pot and bring to medium-high heat (e.g level 7 on an induction/ceramic hob)

  5. Fry the carrots and onion in the oil for about 5 minutes, stirring it every so often

  6. Add in the rice and fry for another 5 minutes, stirring it every so often

  7. Add in the water and once it starts boiling add the stock cube and salt to taste

  8. Cover with a lid and cook on very low heat for 15 minutes (e.g level 3 on an induction/ceramic hob)
