Pecan Muhammara
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F and spread pecans evenly on a baking sheet. Toast for 12 minutes, or until the nuts are fragrant and gently browned. Be careful not to burn them. Alternatively you can toast them on the stove in a skillet over medium heat for 10 minutes. Stir often, until they are browned and fragrant.

  2. If using whole nuts, transfer them to the food processor and pulse a few times to chop.

  3. Place all of the remaining ingredients in the food processor.

  4. Blend the ingredients until the muhammara is your desired texture.

  5. Garnish and serve.
