Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan).
If using whole flaxseeds, blend them into a fine flour using a blender (10–30 seconds).
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, adding water to form a dough.
Let the dough rest for 15–30 minutes to thicken.
Divide into 8 portions, roll into balls, and dip the top into sesame seeds.
Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Store for 3 days or freeze.
