  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan).

  2. If using whole flaxseeds, blend them into a fine flour using a blender (10–30 seconds).

  3. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, adding water to form a dough.

  4. Let the dough rest for 15–30 minutes to thicken.

  5. Divide into 8 portions, roll into balls, and dip the top into sesame seeds.

  6. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  7. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and cooked through.

  8. Store for 3 days or freeze.
