Reduce cider down until you have a thick syrup.
Once cooled, use it as you would molasses.
Roll the dough balls in granulated maple and some cinnamon sugar before baking.
Bake at 350° F for 14-16 minutes, depending on your oven. You want the edges to brown and the middles to no longer be glossy, then let them finish on the pan until cool enough to move to a rack.
Sprinkle more cinnamon sugar on after pulling them out of the oven.
Brush the glaze on while the cookies were still warm.
