Crab And Shrimp Seafood Bisque
  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft and translucent.

  2. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Sprinkle in the flour and whisk continuously for 1–2 minutes to form a light roux.

  4. Slowly pour in the seafood stock, whisking to keep the bisque smooth.

  5. Add the cream and milk, stirring gently. Bring to a low simmer.

  6. Season with paprika, Old Bay, salt, pepper, and a pinch of cayenne if desired.

  7. Add the shrimp and cook for 3–4 minutes, just until pink and tender.

  8. Gently fold in the crab meat and simmer for 2 more minutes—do not boil.

  9. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
