Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread
  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and mix with 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, 3 tablespoons brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon for the cinnamon swirl mixture. Set aside.

  2. In a bowl, combine 2 sticks melted butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste.

  3. Whisk the butter mixture together until combined.

  4. Add 2 cups all purpose flour and whisk again.

  5. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda and mix well.

  6. Mash 4 ripe bananas very well and fold them into the batter.

  7. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

  8. Add half of the batter to the bottom of the loaf pan.

  9. Spread half of the cinnamon mixture over the batter and swirl it in with a fork.

  10. Add the remaining batter on top.

  11. Spread the remaining cinnamon mixture and swirl it in with a fork.

  12. Optional: place banana slices on top.

  13. Bake at 350°F for about 1 hour and 5 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

  14. Remove from oven and let cool. The bread will continue to cook while resting.
