Chocolate Chip Cookies
  1. Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt

  2. In a separate bowl, cream room-temp butter (knife should sink in with its own weight), sugar, and molasses using a heavy silicone spatula until light and almost fluffy.

  3. Add the vanilla, milk, and egg, and whisk until fully incorporated.

  4. Add the flour mixture and combine with spatula.

  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  6. Chill the dough before scooping and baking.

  7. Scoop the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart (2, 1, 2, 1, etc.)

  8. Bake at 375°F for about 12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.

  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
