FIRST STEP:Combine the water and soy sauce, then add the sugar and stir until it dissolves
Add in the ginger and the garlic
SECOND STEP:Add in the chicken pieces
Soak in the marinade for 24 hours to 3 days total
THIRD STEP:After you complete marinating the chicken, place it on a grill and cook it as you would any meat
Place a pot on the grill, add the marinade to the pan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, or move the pan so that it simmers.
FOURTH STEP:When the chicken pieces are done grilling, place them into the pan with the marinade.
This will help to steam the meat, which makes it even juicer.
FIFTH STEP:Serve with a plate of lo mein noodles or rice, garnish with chopped green onion and enjoy.
