Preheat grill to 425℉.
Season the chicken wings by placing them in a bowl with salt and pepper. Toss to coat and set aside.
Next, prepare the sauce. Place all of the ingredients into a small saucepan and place over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Spray your grill grates with nonstick cooking spray and then grill chicken wings over direct heat for around 15-20 minutes or until the chicken wings reach an internal temp of 165℉. Flip the wings every 3-5 minutes. The goal is to get beautiful grill marks on each wing. We placed the drummettes in the middle of the grill with the flat parts of the wing around them.
When the chicken wings are fully cooked remove them from the grill and toss in the honey chili crisp sauce.
Serve immediately.
