Easy Sourdough Pretzel Bites
  1. Mix together 100g active sourdough starter, 90g water, and 1 tbsp brown sugar until dissolved

  2. Add 210g flour, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tbsp butter, then knead until smooth

  3. Cover and let rise for 5 hours or until almost doubled in size

  4. Divide dough into 3 equal pieces

  5. Roll each piece into a 1 inch thick rope and cut each into 8 pieces

  6. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F

  7. Boil a pot of water with 1 tbsp baking soda

  8. Drop dough bites into boiling water for 30 seconds, then remove onto a parchment-lined baking sheet

  9. Sprinkle each bite generously with flaky salt

  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown
