In a food processor or blender add: ¾ cup tahini, ⅓ cup lemon juice, ½ cup cold water, and ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon cumin. Then blend until smooth.
Rinse and drain garbanzo beans from 2-15.5oz cans.
Add rinsed garbanzo beans and ⅓ cup olive oil. Then blend until smooth (3-5 minutes).
If too thick, add an extra tablespoon of cold water until smooth.
Garnish with oil, garbanzo beans, or sautéed mushrooms. Serve with warm pita bread.
