Marinate the beef with soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic cloves, and black pepper. Set aside.
Wash the rice and add water, soy sauce, sake, and mirin. Stir well.
Add thinly sliced onions on top of the rice mixture.
Place the lid on the rice cooker and hit cook.
After 15 minutes, add the marinated beef, frozen corn, and more black pepper.
Mix everything together when done and serve with butter, green onions, and chili oil if desired.
