  1. If using pork shoulder, slice into ¾–1 inch thick chops.

  2. If using pork chops, lightly score the edges to prevent curling.

  3. Pat pork dry with paper towels.

  4. In a medium bowl, combine all marinade ingredients.

  6. Add pork to the marinade and coat evenly.
