Salted Egg Cashew Nuts

This time I added cornflakes. It gives extra crispy bite to the snacks.

This sinful snack is perfect for festive munching, whether for own consumption or gifting. There were plenty of leftover egg whites from my pineapple tarts, so this recipe is just nice to reduce waste.

    Method

  1. pre-bake nuts at 150C fan mode 30mins, stir in between

  2. add ingredients except nuts, dried chilies and curry leaves

  3. mix to paste form, then add nuts and corn flakes and mix well

  4. bake at 140C fan mode 40min, stir in between

  5. add dried chilies and curry leaves

  6. bake at 140C fan mode another 10-15mins or until it is crunchy
