  1. Add all the marinade ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix well. Add the chicken and fully coat in the marinade.

  2. Cover the mixing bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours, or at least 30 minutes.

  3. Grill over medium heat until the internal temperature reaches 170°F (about 10 minutes). Alternatively, the chicken can be cooked at 400°F for 12-15 minutes in an air fryer or 25-30 minutes in the oven. Give the chicken a flip halfway through.

  4. Add the olive oil to a preheated skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and cook until fragrant, then lower the heat. Add the butter, honey, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well and then bring to a low simmer for 10 minutes. Mix in the chili peppers.

  5. Add the cooked chicken to the pan and fully coat it with the sauce.
