Plop your butter into a large pan on medium low heat and let it melt.
Add your marshmallows. A full 12 oz bag of marshmallows is what I used, because I like my treats gooey!
When your marshmallows have melted, add your pumpkin and spices, then stir. Add more or less of your spice mix to taste. Optionally, add food coloring.
Let your marshmallow mixture cool a bit before adding your rice krispie cereal.
Toss in your Rice Krispies cereal and stir.
Pour your treat mix into a 9×13 baking pan that has been greased. Using wax paper, flatten out your treats.
Wait a few minutes for everything to cool, then enjoy!
