Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix sour cream, egg, and cooled melted butter in a mixer on low.
Mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Mix dry ingredients int wet ingredients 1 cup at a time on low.
Remove the bowl from the mixer and gently fold in raisins or Craisins with a rubber spatula.
Grease and flour a tube pan. Spread batter into it.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 ½ hours or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Serve warm or cold with tea or coffee.
